Penn State pulls out 35-21 Victory
over Utah
Penn State's Sean Clifford started his career with a touch down and now finishing on top leading the Nittany Lions to Victory at the Rose Bowl. He saved the best for last: he threw 279 yards, went 16 for 22, 73% on passes and two touchdowns, to finish his career tied for the most wins in Penn State history with Trace McSorley. Penn State opened the first quarter with an 88 yard touchdown with wide open KeAndre Lambert-Smith. Freshman sensation, Nicholas Singleton (10) RB scored on an 87 yard run in the third quarter, rushed seven times for 120 yards and scored two touchdowns against the Utah Utes in the Rose Bowl game. He definitely made a run for MVP honors as well.
Utah's Cameron Rising injured his knee in the third quarter, replaced by Bryson Barnes finished game with 112 yards and one touchdown.
